Dr. Vishwas S
Dr. Vishwas. S, a native of Bangalore, completed his under-graduation from VS Dental College and Hospital and followed it up with a specialization in the field of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry from the same institute. He was awarded the ‘best outgoing student’ of his batch by securing the highest grade in his Masters program. He is an Assistant Professor in his alma mater where he is committed to working with budding young dentists. Dr. Vishwas has numerous national and international publications to his name, including in the highly regarded ‘Dental Materials’ journal. He believes world class dental care should be within everyone’s reach and through Summit Dental Clinic; he hopes to create oral health awareness and provide high quality dental treatment. In his free time, he runs marathons and loves travelling with his wife- Dr. Shivani. A man of few words, but when it comes to dentistry and cricket- it is hard to keep him quiet!
Dr. Shivani Venkatesh
Dr. Shivani Venkatesh earned her Bachelor’s degree from the reputed Government Dental College and Research Institute in Bangalore. After securing a gold medal, she completed her Masters in Endodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry from VS Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore. A keen elocutionist and public speaker- she has won best poster at the National conference of the Indian Endodontic Society as well as best paper at The Indian Academy of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry (IAACD) conference. She is passionate about writing and is a published author of a book titled- Adhesion in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. She was extended an invite by the IAACD and delivered a keynote lecture at their recent conference. Her interests include Microscopic Endodontics and aesthetic restorations. Dr. Shivani is known for her patient and painless treatment procedures. She believes that conserving the natural tooth is the need of the hour and together with her husband, Dr. Vishwas, they strive to provide high quality dental care at Summit Dental Clinic. Apart from work, she is passionate about painting, fitness and if you ever need any travel and food recommendations- she is the right person!
your first visit
Your first appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Treatment procedures can be initiated on the same day as the consultation. However, in case of a complex medical history or treatment, a second appointment maybe required to provide the necessary treatment. Please bring the following at the time of your first visit-
Any previous X-rays * (digital or hard copy), CBCT scans if applicable.* If time allows- please email us the x-rays prior to your visit at summitdentalclinic@gmail.com
A detailed list of all the medications you are currently taking. (Please alert our staff/ doctors if you have a medical condition/ on medication that maybe a concern prior to treatment)
To save your time in the dental clinic- please feel free to fill our CASE HISTORY form beforehand and bring a printout for your first visit or email them to us at summitdentalclinic@gmail.com
Our goal is to make our patients as comfortable as possible during their treatment. This includes giving you a choice in music to listen to during your dental procedure. If you have a particular preference, let us know in advance and we will be happy to play it for you. We also provide orthopaedic pillows to support your back and neck, if needed, during treatment.
* Additional x-rays may be taken in our clinic if needed for diagnosis and treatment planing. These images will be mailed to you on the same day.
